Tasting-Wilson Daniels Merlot

Name:  Wilson Daniels Merlot
Variety:  Merlot
Region:  Central Coast, California
Country:  United States of America
Year:  2010
Price:  $7.95

Vintage Cellar Review:  Made predominantly from Paso Robles grapes, the wine is fullbodied and silky yet robust, with aromas of black cherry and plum and a palate of blackberry, raspberry and blueberry jam laced with vanilla and toast.

My Review:  When I was trying to smell this wine I had a very hard time trying to get any smell.  The very faint smell I did get smelled of expired fruit.  This wine has a toasty taste which was caused by oak.  The wine tasted acidic at first but less acidic going down.  I was not eating any food while at the tasting.
